About theoryDB

An independent archive of records, findings and hidden history.

The Truthspeaker

The Truthspeaker is my editorial pen name. I follow the paper trail: dates, names, documents and the connections between them. Institutions do not get the last word simply because they hold the microphone. The record is open to examination, and so are their explanations.

A connected way to explore a subject

We are entitled to examine the records for ourselves. This archive follows hidden histories, institutional power and unexplained events from broad subjects down to individual cases and documents. We compare what was said with what survives in the source record.

The current editorial collection contains 3,304 research topics across 48 subjects and 209 collections. These are subjects for investigation; they are not a count of completed articles. The English prototype includes one full-text preview.

Editorial method

Each citation is tied to the point it supports. An official record can establish that a program existed. A forum discussion can establish that a particular account was circulated. Neither establishes every later interpretation of its contents.

Dates, names, images and quotations require provenance. Editorial reconstructions and fictional elements must be identified. Corrections should make clear which part of an account has changed and why.

Sources and access

The source archive contains 152 annotated resources from the research registry. Some pages were retrieved during collection; others remain research leads whose current content and accessibility require review.

Languages

English is the primary language of the site. Additional language editions will use the same topic identifiers, with individually reviewed translations and sources.
